Rick Guest is an award winning and internationally acclaimed photographer with a passion for dancers and dance. His work is held in private collections and national institutions across the world, including the Royal Opera House and the National Portrait Gallery in his home country.
Combining the eye of an artist and the precision timing of an athlete, he seeks to both capture and immortalise this ephemeral art form and its incredible practitioners.
His recent show "What Lies Beneath" at the Hospital Club Gallery in London's Covent Garden, was accompanied by the book for sale here.
The show received incredible plaudits and massive media attention, reaching a global press reach of over 274 million.
The National Portrait Gallery in London acquired a further six prints from the show, and the work from this series is now held in many prestigious private collections across the world.
Some of the work from this series will be exhibited by the Forum Gallery from New York at the Seattle Art Fair this Summer.
Another series was displayed at the English National Ballet at the Dorchester, with an auction containing some of my work raising over £280,000 in a single evening.
Rick continues to work with many of the world's greatest dancers and dance companies, including The Royal Ballet, English National Ballet, Wayne McGregor, the Richard Alston Dance Company, The Dresden Semperoper, amongst others.
